This was my senior thesis for the Ohio State Visual Communications Design program. The outcome is a goal-achievement assistance platform named GOL (a stylized version of the word "Goal"). The system works by breaking down challenging long-term goals and parsing them into a quest log format like that of role-playing video game.

The final explanation video of the system.

Coming up with a challenge to actually tackle with my thesis project took quite some time to do; my initial ideas were to create a snowboarding simulation or a home furniture catalog, but the idea of GOL came around after learning about issues with task operationalization in the gaming community. This felt like a worthy challenge to research and develop a solution for, and here we are.

Below is the final documentation for the project, including the process and all wireframes and features of the app. If you would like to view this document in PDF format, there is a download for that available here: PDF Download
